How do I start using InFridge AI?

Getting started with InFridge AI is easy:

  1. Download the app from the App Store
  2. Sign in with Apple, Google, or create an account
  3. Add your ingredients by manual entry or camera scan (Premium)
  4. Tap "Generate Recipe" and let our AI create personalized recipes
  5. Follow step-by-step cooking instructions

You can start with the free tier (3 recipes per day) or upgrade to Premium for unlimited access!

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your InFridge AI subscription:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select InFridge AI
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You won't be charged again, but you'll keep premium features until the period ends.

Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions directly from the App Store app or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions

How do I restore my premium purchase?

If you previously purchased a subscription but don't have premium access:

  1. Open InFridge AI
  2. Tap the Profile tab
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll down and tap Restore Purchases

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the original purchase. If you're still having issues, contact our support team.

Why isn't my camera working?

Note: Camera scanning is a Premium feature. Make sure you have an active subscription first.

If you have Premium and camera isn't working:

  1. Go to iPhone SettingsPrivacy & SecurityCamera
  2. Find InFridge AI and toggle it ON
  3. Restart the app

For photo library access:

  1. Go to SettingsPrivacy & SecurityPhotos
  2. Find InFridge AI and select "All Photos" or "Selected Photos"
How accurate are the nutritional values?

Nutritional information is estimated based on standard ingredient databases and AI calculations. While we strive for accuracy, actual values may vary based on:

  • Specific brands and products used
  • Preparation methods
  • Ingredient substitutions
  • Portion sizes

Important: InFridge AI is not a substitute for professional nutritional advice. If you have specific dietary requirements or health conditions, please consult a registered dietitian or healthcare provider.

Can I use InFridge AI offline?

Saved recipes can be viewed offline. Once you've generated and saved a recipe, you can access it anytime without internet.

Generating new recipes requires an internet connection because our AI needs to process your ingredients and create personalized recipes.

Cooking mode works offline for saved recipes, including timers and step-by-step instructions.

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

How do I delete my account and data?

To delete your account:

  1. Open InFridge AI
  2. Go to ProfileSettings
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your saved recipes, cooking history, and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it separately through your Apple ID settings to avoid future charges.

The app is crashing or freezing. What should I do?

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Force quit the app: Swipe up from the bottom, swipe up on InFridge AI
  2. Restart your iPhone: Hold power button, slide to power off, turn back on
  3. Check for updates: Open App Store → Updates → Update InFridge AI if available
  4. Free up storage: Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage
  5. Reinstall the app: Delete and redownload from App Store (your data is saved in the cloud)

Can I request a refund?

All purchases are processed through Apple, so refunds must be requested directly from Apple:

  5. Select the reason and follow the instructions

Refund approval is at Apple's discretion and subject to their refund policy. We recommend canceling future renewals even if you request a refund.
